Job summary

QPS Employment Group has an opportunity in Final Assembly for a role based in Franklin, Wisconsin. The position offers a first shift from 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with the potential to hire after a probationary period.

Ideal candidates will follow work orders, read blueprints, and handle parts with care while maintaining production goals. Responsibilities include using the Global Shop system to track progress, assembling components with common fastening methods, and documenting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous assembly experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Comfortable working with small parts and using hand tools.
• Good hand dexterity.
• Ability to sit for approximately 75% of the shift.
• Ability to stand/walk for approximately 25% of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and part instructions.
• Use a computer and Global Shop system to track work and production.
• Scan shop orders and pick/pull parts based on locations and quantities.
• Assemble components using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, and other fastening methods.
• Operate equipment such as presses and drills.
• Label and color-code finished products accurately and neatly.
• Inspect work for quality and completeness.
• Document daily production and inventory activities.
• Work independently after training while meeting production rates.
• Move between workstations as production needs change.
