QPS Employment Group is recruiting for an Assembly position in Wausau, WI. The role involves building and testing basic electronic control products, using job tickets and drawings, and preparing finished goods for shipping or stock.

Shifts are on the 1st shift, 6:00am–4:00pm, with a wage of $17.00 per hour. This is a potential to hire opportunity with an emphasis on accuracy, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to read gauges.
• Flexible to meet changing requirements.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in production or manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test basic forms of electronic control products.
• Package, label and prepare finished goods for shipment or stock.
• Utilize assembly drawings and job tickets to manufacture quality products.
• Use job tickets and assembly drawings to build basic forms of electronic control products.
• Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
• Correctly record number of products tested or built on job tickets.
• Utilize the ERP system to input job ticket data.
• Run laminators, steel rule die, hole punch, power cutter, laser, and knife cutter.
