Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems in Batavia, Ohio is seeking a Final Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The Final Assembler is responsible for assembling prefabricated components and completing final assembly work according to blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, mechanical, or skilled-trade environment and possess strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade school or related on-the-job experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, mechanical assembly, automotive, carpentry, or skilled trade is desirable.
• Basic blueprint or shop drawing experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of plumbing and fittings is a plus.
• Experience with NPT and JIC fittings is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and assembly instructions to accurately assemble prefabricated components.
• Assemble, install, and secure components according to specifications and quality standards.
• Use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
• Accurately read and interpret a tape measure; a tape measure test will be required.
• Climb ladders and work at elevated heights as required.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit, alignment, installation, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
