Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking an Assembler I in Ohio to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products per customer specifications. You will secure parts and supplies to keep production moving.

Responsibilities include setting up the work area, assembling parts with hand tools, inspecting quality, and maintaining records. The role emphasizes safety, clean workspaces, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assembles parts according to prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures and labeling/banding requirements.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean, and organized; equipment is safe to operate.
• Performs pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems.
• Maintains clean production records as required.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
