Job summary

Fluid Motion, LLC is a premier boat manufacturer and parent company of Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Boats, known for innovative design and craftsmanship. The Grinder role involves preparing, shaping, and finishing fiberglass components to meet production and quality standards, using hand and power tools in a fast-paced plant environment.

The position runs full-time, Monday through Friday, with a morning shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, in Auburn, WA.

Qualifications

• Experience grinding, sanding, trimming, and finishing fiberglass components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Applies gelcoat by brush to underside of parts per specifications.
• Cuts excess fiberglass from part edge.
• Examines laminated parts for defects and checks measurements.
• Mixes polyester putty and hardener and applies to bonding area.
• Removes burrs and rough surfaces from fiberglass parts with hand tools.
