Job summary

KENT Nutrition Group, Inc. in Marshall, Missouri is seeking a Main Mixer to safely operate, calibrate, and monitor the feed mixing system to produce consistent finished feeds in accordance with formulation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years of age to work in the plant.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, HACCP Feed & Food Safety Plans, FSMA, and cGMPs; commitment to safety procedures and PPE.
• Previous feed mill, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, basic math for production documentation, and good mechanical aptitude.
• Dependable and detail-oriented; ability to work safely and in a team and identify equipment or production concerns.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds from floor to working height.
• Ability to work in dusty environments and outdoors/indoors in seasonal weather.
• Safety is a top priority; follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, maintain, and calibrate the mixing system for efficient, accurate production of finished feeds.
• Complete scheduled mixing per formula cards, quality standards, SOPs, cGMPs, and safety practices.
• Maintain accurate daily records of feed formulations, mixing activity, and production documentation.
• Monitor equipment and work areas for safe operation; communicate concerns promptly to management.
• Promote safety, quality, and teamwork and assist in other production areas as assigned by plant management.
