Job summary

KENT Nutrition Group, Inc. in Marshall, Missouri is seeking a Main Mixer to safely and efficiently operate the feed mixing system, ensuring batches meet our quality and formulation standards.

You’ll work with a team that takes pride in producing quality products safely and consistently. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 pounds, and adherence to OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, and cGMP procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous feed mill, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, HACCP, FSMA, and cGMPs.
• Strong verbal and written communication, basic math, and mechanical aptitude.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work safely as part of a team.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and work in dusty, outdoor-indoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, maintain, and calibrate the mixing system to support efficient production.
• Complete scheduled feed mill mixing per formula cards, quality standards, SOPs, and safety practices.
• Maintain accurate daily records of feed formulations and production documentation.
• Monitor equipment and work areas for safe operation and report concerns to management.
• Promote safety, quality, and teamwork while assisting in other production duties as assigned.
