Job summary

Two shifts are available, with responsibilities across packaging, receiving, and warehouse activities. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year manufacturing experience, and knowledge of OSHA, cGMPs, HACCP, and FSMA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
• Farming background a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication, verbal and written.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Understanding of cGMPs.
• Knowledge of HACCP Feed & Safety Plan.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Work in dust and adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily equipment to process and manufacture feed according to SOPs.
• Operate bagger, sewing machine, and forklift safely for optimum production.
• Follow warehouse and loading protocols.
• Ensure quality assurance protocols for ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging.
• Record and document all feed manufactured during shifts.
• Assist with production scheduling, inventory planning, and control.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair.
• Load/unload trucks safely.
• Provide customer service when needed.
• Maintain safety policies and procedures.
