Job summary

Eaton is seeking a FAB Machine Operator for the 2nd shift at our Arden, NC facility. The role involves performing fabrication operations on raw materials with metal processing machinery and following detailed work orders.

You will observe safety rules, setup PLC/Analog/Manual machines, inspect parts, complete paperwork, and support TPM/5S+ initiatives. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Relocation is not offered; candidates within 50 miles preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and internet.
• No immigration sponsorship; local candidates within 50 miles of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication operations on raw materials using metal processing machinery.
• Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulations.
• Operate equipment to produce parts and interpret work orders/drawings.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions; maintain tools and equipment.
• Provide on-the-job training for new Operators.
• Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities daily.
• Complete any other tasks from management or leads.
