Job summary

Worksaver Material Handling Equipment in Shawnee, OK is seeking a skilled Fab Shop Production Welder to join the team. You will perform MIG/TIG welding in a fast-paced fabrication setting, read blueprints, and ensure quality welds while meeting daily output targets.

You will operate grinders, plasma cutters, and press brakes, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and collaborate with the production crew to uphold production standards and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a production welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG or stick welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication tools including grinders, plasma cutters, and press brakes.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to weld quality and consistency.
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in a physically demanding shop environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, or welding on metal components in a production fab shop environment
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and related fab shop machinery
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
• Grind, clean, and finish welded assemblies as required for production standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety protocols
• Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output and delivery goals
