Job summary

Worksaver Material Handling Equipment in Shawnee, OK is seeking a skilled Production MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies in a fast-paced production line and read blueprints for accurate fabrication.

We value safety and craftsmanship; you will inspect welds, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with teammates to meet daily output goals.

Qualifications

Proven MIG welding experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties and joint prep.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies in a high-volume production setting.
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication.
Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, adjusting settings for material type and thickness.
Inspect completed welds for quality, consistency and adherence to specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output and quality goals.
Identify and report equipment issues or weld defects to supervisors promptly.
