Job summary

AMETEK in San Diego, California is seeking an Assembler to perform routine electronic and mechanical assembly at unit and module levels, reading blueprints and using fixtures and hand tools to build subassemblies.

Qualifications

• Must read assembly blueprints and specifications
• Good manual dexterity with hand tools and measuring devices
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry

Responsibilities

• Assemble components to final product using blueprints and process docs
• Read diagrams and prepare subassemblies for final assembly
• Perform rework per repair procedures and apply ECNs as needed
• Inspect and verify product quality at defined intervals
• Provide training and support to junior assemblers as required
