Job summary

AMETEK Inc. seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician at Hamilton Precision Metals in Lancaster, PA. You will support maintenance with preventive and daily initiatives, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, and collaborate with operators to identify root causes.

You will read blueprints, use test equipment, perform mechanical adjustments, and participate in safety programs. Candidates should have a high school diploma and training in industrial electronics, plus ability to operate a tow

Qualifications

Requires a high school education or equivalent and a completed training program in industrial electronics.
Familiarity with solid-state drives and control systems; ability to operate a tow motor.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and electronic control equipment including furnace temperature control systems and motor controls.
Use blueprints and schematics to diagnose faulty equipment with test instruments.
Replace defective components using soldering irons and hand tools; calibrate and align equipment per specs.
Maintain accurate data records and keep the work area organized and safe.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to reduce lead times and improve quality.
Perform functions of an electrician as needed and support safety programs.
