Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, test, and optimize electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires PLC programming, CNC troubleshooting, and the ability to troubleshoot devices to the component level. A strong safety mindset and overtime flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
• PLC programming experience is required.
• CNC machine troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical devices down to component level.
• Advanced electrical knowledge in an industrial environment (preferred: 480-volt 3 phase).
• Associate Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to climb in overhead structures and work in close quarters.
• Must be highly safety conscious.
• Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and reduce costs (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all phases of equipment required by production, including electromechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment.
• Install, start up, and shut down equipment following safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document circuit designs and maintenance records.
• Develop cost reduction programs and assist other maintenance personnel.
