Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state is seeking an experienced quality inspector to perform detailed inspections of manufactured parts to ensure specifications and quality. You will operate advanced metrology devices and develop CMM programs to support accurate measurement and reporting.

The role requires interpreting drawings, conducting on-machine and in-process inspections, and documenting results to contribute to overall quality control.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years in inspection roles or similar.
• Citizen/immigration: US citizen or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Operate Portable 3D Metrology Devices and set up measurement locations for reflective parts.
• Create, modify, and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS or Calypso.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide inspections.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections with Spatial Analyzer, Hexagon, Faro instruments.
• Document inspection data and prepare reports to track quality.
• Identify defects and communicate issues to relevant personnel.
