Blue Origin is seeking a Quality Inspector on the Merritt Island, FL site to perform precision CMM inspections and coordinate measuring tasks for manufactured parts. You will operate CMMs and Nikon LR devices, develop and modify inspection programs, and ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently within a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify discrepancies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with CMM software such as PC-DMIS or Calypso.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication to relay inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CMM to measure parts and ensure tolerances.
• Program development/modification for CMM inspections using PC-DMIS or Calypso.
• Inspect parts using CMM and other tools; record data and generate reports.
• Interpret blueprints to guide inspection procedures and report issues.
