Motion Industries is hiring an Assembly Fabricator in Eden Prairie, MN. The role performs fabrication, repairs, and assembly of dies, tools, and components under supervision, producing precise parts per blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, verifying piece accuracy, welding as required, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. High school diploma or GED and steady manual skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient with measuring tools and gauging tolerances.
• Ability to lift and maneuver materials up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly using standard measuring tools.
• Examine and measure work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Verify conformance using rulers, squares, and tapes.
• Set up and operate fabricating machines to form, bend, cut, or drill components.
• Weld parts as needed and may tack-weld assemblies.
• Follow blueprints and layout specifications with safe working practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Study drawings to determine materials and sequence of tasks.
