Job summary

MiTek seeks an experienced Die Setup & Tooling Technician to support stamping operations in Tolleson, AZ. You will perform die setup, changeovers, tooling maintenance, troubleshoot forming and progression issues, and ensure dies are production-ready to support schedules.

You will work to safety standards, maintain quality, and assist with die set-up documentation while collaborating with planners and management to resolve issues and keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Commit to overtime when required and meet productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up dies and perform die changeovers to keep production ready.
• Inspect and assemble tooling per documentation to tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot forming, punch and progression issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tooling and dies.
• Train others as workload allows and support Die Setters.
