Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled operator to run automatic equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes. You will set up stamping dies, perform tooling changes, and troubleshoot to keep production on schedule, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include reading tape measures, adhering to schedules, and performing preventative maintenance while coordinating with the team to ensure quality output.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Effective communication with co-workers and management.
• Adherence to safety instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Setup machinery for manufacturing.
• Setup stamping dies in presses.
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules.
• Simple troubleshooting and tool and die repair to keep production on schedule.
• Perform required preventative maintenance.
• Monitor press, tooling and secondary systems for proper operation during manufacturing.
• Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is essential; overtime may be required.
