Job summary

MiTek in Tolleson, AZ seeks a manufacturing technician to set up machinery, stamp dies, and perform preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot tooling, monitor presses and tooling systems, and adapt to schedules while ensuring safety.

This role requires a high school diploma, good math and measurement skills, and the ability to read a tape measure; prior forklift experience is preferred. Join a manufacturing team focused on reliability, quality, and continuous improvement in a dynamic plant

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Language: Ability to communicate with coworkers and management about work and safety.
• Mathematical skills: Perform basic arithmetic with units of measure.
• Reasoning: Follow written or oral instructions and safety procedures.
• Computer: Basic PC skills helpful but not required.
• Other skills: Read a tape measure.
• Other qualifications: Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Physical demands: Regularly meet physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for manufacturing.
• Set up stamping dies in presses.
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules.
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling to keep production on schedule.
• Perform required preventative maintenance.
• Monitor press, tooling and secondary systems during manufacturing.
• Attend work during scheduled shifts, including overtime as required.
