Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Phoenix Stamping Group, LLC seeks a skilled machinist to join our Fort Worth facility. You will inspect dies, repair tooling, and set up mills, lathes, drills, grinders, and other tools to maintain production flow.
The role requires reading blueprints, basic shop math, and adherence to OSHA guidelines. Experience with draw dies is essential, with opportunities to design fixtures for new products.
On our 1st shift (6:30AM–3:00PM), you’ll step onto the floor ready to keep production moving. You begin by inspecting tooling pulled from the presses, gauging wear, and deciding the best path to restore performance. With careful measurements in hand, you’ll head to the shop to set up a milling machine, lathe, drill press, or grinder, executing precise repairs. Between jobs, you’ll partner with engineering to craft new tools and fixtures for upcoming parts, and you’ll keep a sharp eye on safety, following OSHA and our internal standards at every turn.
