Job summary

MiTek Industries in Tolleson, AZ, seeks an experienced Die Setup & Tooling Technician to support stamping operations. Responsible for die setup, changeovers, tooling maintenance, and ensuring dies are production-ready to meet schedules.

Will troubleshoot forming and progression issues, verify dies per customer specs, perform preventative maintenance, and train others as needed. A safety-minded, overtime-capable candidate is essential.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training.
• Language Skills: Effective communication with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up dies and perform changeovers, ensuring production readiness.
• Perform tooling changes and die maintenance per schedule.
• Troubleshoot forming issues, punch issues and progression issues.
• Verify dies per customer specifications and work order.
• Provide support and training to others as workload allows.
