Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to perform precision mechanical assembly for Dewar production. You will clean, process, and document parts and subassemblies, using specialized equipment and production tooling to support high-quality output.

You will collaborate with coworkers and engineering teams to ensure quality and production objectives are met, following 5S principles and strict PPE protocols in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrate fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
• Able to use small hand tools, such as tweezers, hex keys, and probes/picks.
• Able to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment and wear required PPE (coveralls, hairnet, gloves, face mask, ESD footwear).
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively using English.
• Proficient with using a computer and navigating standard software applications.
• Able to use a microscope to visually inspect small parts for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle common manufacturing chemicals and solvents as per procedures.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly and adhesive application per work instructions.
• Conduct measurements and document inspection and test results.
• Enter production data and maintain traveler and WIP records.
• Maintain documentation, traceability, and data integrity throughout manufacturing.
