Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Goleta, CA is seeking a skilled assembler for precision mechanical assembly in a controlled environment. You will assemble Dewar components, apply adhesives, and document inspections while maintaining data integrity and traveler/WIP records.

You will work with engineering teams to support product development, follow 5S practices, and ensure safety through proper PPE use. The role requires reading drawings, handling small parts, and physical endurance.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Must follow PPE procedures in cleanroom environments.
• Proficient with basic computer usage and data entry.
• Ability to sit/stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle chemicals and solvents per procedures.
• Perform precision mechanical assembly and adhesive application per work instructions.
• Document inspection results and maintain traveler/WIP records.
• Ensure product traceability and data integrity across processes.
• Support engineering activities and 5S workplace standards.
• Collaborate with team to meet quality and production goals.
