Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit; must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA facility.
• Access to export-controlled information; must be a U.S. person as defined by regulations.
• Preferred: currently attending trade or vocational school.
• One year manufacturing experience; aerospace experience preferred.
• Experience in machining, deburring, honing or lapping parts.
• Familiar with Kaizen/Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• PC skills (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple to moderate manual deburring with tight tolerances (≈ .005 to .030).
• Deburr exterior, buff and polish parts; perform rough finishes as needed.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications for parts.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain productivity and safety in manufacturing operations.
