Job summary

RSA Engineered Products LLC in El Cajon, CA is seeking a General Helper - Deburr for the 2nd shift. The role involves removing burrs, sharp edges and minor imperfections from metal parts using hand tools, abrasive materials and deburring equipment, with occasional power saw use.

On-the-job training is provided. You must read and follow instructions, pass forklift safety if required, and perform janitorial and general duties.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes English at a level sufficient to fulfill essential job functions.
• Able to use air & electric motor driven tools to remove burrs or sharp edges on metal.
• Prior work experience in industry or shop training.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Remove burrs and sharp edges with abrasive materials and hand tools.
• Operate air- & electric motor driven deburring equipment.
• Pass examination for forklift safety per CCR Title 8 Section 3668 as required.
• Complete general cleanup or janitorial duties.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
