The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and document processes.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to participate in formal training related to customer and process requirements.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, edges, and surface imperfections from machined aerospace components using hand tools and abrasives.
• Perform precision deburring, cleaning, polishing, chamfering, and surface conditioning to required finishes.
• Review shop travelers, instructions, blueprints, and drawings for finishing requirements.
• Inspect parts to ensure aerospace quality, safety, and customer specs.
• Handle and clean parts to protect critical surfaces and tolerances.
• Collaborate with machinists, quality inspectors, and engineers to resolve issues.
• Maintain production records and follow quality procedures including AS9100.
