Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is hiring a production operator in Cincinnati to operate plant machinery and produce concrete products safely and efficiently. You will follow safety policies, perform setup and changeovers, and help maintain production records.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, and a willingness to cross-train across production tasks. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance when needed.
• Willing to follow safety policies and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently to produce concrete products from raw materials to yard stage.
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records.
• Monitor machinery to detect and report malfunctions.
• Perform machine clean-up and setup for job changes.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area and follow safety procedures.
• Cross-train on other aspects of the production process as needed.
• Support supervisors with additional duties and maintain accuracy in work.
