Job summary

Banc of California is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to balance ledgers, reconcile accounts, and support upstream units. You will research out-of-balance conditions and ensure timely processing of servicing transactions, including SBA loans.

The role requires handling customer inquiries professionally, maintaining accurate data, and supporting year-end reporting. A strong understanding of banking regulations and servicing terminology is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; three years related experience in commercial loan servicing or similar.
• Strong typing and basic math skills; proficient with computers and spreadsheets.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities; able to follow instructions.
• Familiarity with banking compliance basics and loan servicing terminology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loan payments between sub-servicer and Banc of California systems.
• Interact with customers and partners with courtesy and professionalism.
• Research and maintain loan account history and transaction data.
• Explain tax and escrow histories and resolve related issues.
• Cross-train across loan servicing functions as needed.
• Develop and maintain clear work procedures for auditing.
• Protect loan files and data with strict security.
