MacLean Power Systems seeks a Winding Machine Operator in a Pre-Assembly role to operate high-speed coil winding machines for copper wound coils used in medium-voltage transformers. Pay is $19.00/hour; schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include set-up, selecting wire size and turns per specs, inserting insulation, and monitoring performance. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

• Review transformer winding and assembly documentation to determine proper wire size, number of turns, and core specifications
• Set up winding machines according to production requirements
• Operate winding equipment efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Manually insert insulation material between winding layers as required
• Change wire and materials as needed during production runs
• Monitor machine performance and report operational issues to supervisors promptly
• Assist in other manufacturing areas during periods of reduced production volume
