Job summary

Central Moloney is seeking a Power Winder to set up and operate winding machines for transformer coils on 1st/2nd/3rd shifts. You will load materials, follow detailed work instructions, monitor machine parameters, and inspect finished coils for quality.

The role requires basic math, good attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The position is based at Transformers AR and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, coil winding, or machine operation preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions, specifications, blueprints, and production documentation.
• Basic mathematical and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills for equipment operation and production documentation, as applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate winding machines to produce transformer coils per work instructions and procedures.
• Load, position, and secure wire, insulation, and other winding materials.
• Read and follow work instructions, specifications, blueprints, and production documentation.
• Set and monitor machine parameters including speed, tension, and dimensions.
• Inspect coils for conformance to specifications and report defects.
