Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a CNC Technician in Atlanta, GA for a contract-to-hire role. You will adjust machines, read blueprints, and ensure dimensional accuracy while supporting production flow.

The position requires strong precision measurement skills, troubleshooting capability for machining, tooling and programming issues, and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will train operators and participate in Lean practices to improve throughput on the lines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CNC operation and machine adjustments.
• Ability to interpret GD&T on technical drawings.
• Experience reading blueprints and performing precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Adjust machines and tooling as needed.
• Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances per drawings.
• Support production flow and lead operators in machining area.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and programming issues.
• Perform re-works and document operations.
• Deburr parts with hand tools and perform visual inspections.
• Train operators on SOPs and inspection details.
• Identify bottlenecks and communicate status to supervisors.
• Support production planning and Lean activities.
