Job summary

Aerobraze Engineered Technologies, a division of Wall Colmonoy, in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes, perform tool changes, and maintain tight tolerances on aerospace components.

You will read blueprints, inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and other gauges, troubleshoot issues, mentor teammates, and help meet daily production targets while keeping a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years CNC lathe experience.
• Proficient with setups, tooling, and on-machine edits.
• Strong inspection skills with manual tools.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve machining issues independently.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to assist others.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes with minimal supervision.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and edits directly at the machine.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain part quality.
• Conduct 100% dimensional inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore mics, and dial indicators.
• Read aerospace blueprints and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
• Mentor teammates and help meet daily/weekly production targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
