Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Technician to support precision CNC manufacturing equipment used in aerospace part production. This role performs detailed preventive and predictive maintenance and may offer growth into advanced maintenance positions.

Location: Thomasville, GA. Schedule: Mon–Fri 7:00 am–3:30 pm, full-time with potential extended hours and weekend work as needed. Prioritize safety and reliability in a high-tech production environment.

Qualifications

1+ years of related experience in industrial maintenance, CNC operation, or technical field.
Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
Ability to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

Identify deterioration early and document machine condition; elevate problems before downtime.
Perform quarterly, semi-annual, and annual preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
Inspect and evaluate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, spindle, tool changer, and machine-control systems.
Inspect components including bearings, gears, ball screws, linear guides, belts, pumps, motors, valves, sensors.
Perform fluid, lubricant, and filter service per OEM requirements.
Conduct spindle and tool-retention inspections and runout checks.
Record maintenance activities and deficiencies in the CMMS.
Follow all safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Return equipment to production-ready condition after maintenance.
