The role requires a Machinist degree or equivalent and 2–4 years of CNC experience, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. A commitment to quality and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year Machinist vocational program degree with 2–4 years relevant experience.
• Ability to read drawings and technical specifications including GD+T.
• Experience with CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.).
• Knowledge of different materials and cutting tools.
• Demonstrated proficiency on basic machine set-up and operations.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate production.
• Load material during operation and change or adjust cutting tools and offsets as required.
• Determine if programs need updates or modifications and provide feedback to team.
• Deburr product to drawing requirements using hand and power tools.
• Check and fill machine fluid levels and monitor equipment for maintenance needs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide activities.
