Job summary

Align Precision Corp. in Arizona is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to prepare and operate CNC machines, load parts, and ensure in-process quality.

You will interpret drawings, read GD&T, select tools, perform precise measurements, and contribute to 5S and continuous improvement.

The role requires 4+ years' machining experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with blueprints, CAD models, and CMM usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of machining experience, preferably in a high-precision or military environment.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Proficient in operating and programming CNC machines.
• Reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Understanding of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Performs part processing per provided work instruction and/or verbal instruction.
• Interprets drawing requirements.
• Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and machining processes.
• Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality control standards.
• Manages tooling and fixturing as required.
• Reports faulty hardware, processes, and non-conformances to immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• May assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.
• Actively engage in and initiate continuous improvement activities.
• Other duties assigned.
