Job summary

Align Precision Corp. seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate 5-6 axis mills and CNC turning centers, following complex blueprints and specifications.

You will use calipers, micrometers, and ERP systems to document processes and ensure tight tolerances, contributing to continuous improvement and quality control. Qualifications

• 5-6 years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus advanced training if applicable.
• Experience operating 5-6 axis CNC machinery and multi-spindle machines is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers according to complex blueprints and specifications.
• Retrieve job routings, part drawings, tool lists, and work instructions.
• Select cutting tools and work holding for various materials and processes.
• Document manufactured quantities and processes using ERP system
• Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure tolerances.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.
