Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation in Tempe, AZ seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate mill/turn centers, verify parts against drawings, and support tooling development. You will use calipers and micrometers for precision measurements, document processes in the ERP system, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 5–6 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent plus advanced training, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus advanced training.
• 5–6 years of relevant machining experience.
• Good attention to detail and ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and math skills.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools and maintain quality.
• Safety-conscious and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers according to complex blueprints and specifications.
• Retrieve job routings, part drawings, tool lists, and work instructions.
• Select and utilize appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials.
• Document manufactured quantities and processes using ERP system.
• Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• May assist with developing new machining methods and tooling for complex parts.
• Other duties assigned.
