Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and run 3–4 axis VMCs on Fanuc, ProtoTRAK, and Okuma controls. You will read prints, apply GD&T, write G/M-code, and select tooling to ensure precise, repeatable parts.

You’ll troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, and perform manual machining for complex setups as needed, in a fast-paced Wyoming, IL shop.

Responsibilities

Your shift opens with a 3–4 axis VMC warm-up on Okuma, Fanuc, or ProtoTRAK controls. You scan the drawing, decode the GD&T callouts, select the right tooling, and write or refine G- and M-code to get the first piece dialed in. You verify with hand metrology, make offset tweaks, and let the chips fly—safely and efficiently.Between runs, you troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance to keep downtime low, and jump onto a manual machine when a complex setup or repair calls for a hands-on touch.
