Qualifications

  • Demonstrated CNC machining experience with solid programming capability.
  • Hands-on GD&T knowledge and application in part verification.
  • Strong diagnostic mindset for machine and process issues.
  • Fluency in G- and M-code.
  • Experience on 3–4 axis vertical machining centers.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run CNC mills (3–4 axis VMC) on Fanuc, ProtoTRAK, and Okuma platforms.
  • Read prints and apply GD&T to hit exact specifications and tolerances.
  • Program and optimize cycles using G-code and M-code for throughput and accuracy.
  • Select and manage CNC tooling to produce high-quality components.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform equipment maintenance to reduce downtime.

Shape Every Thousandth: A Day in the Life

When you step into our Wyoming, IL (61491) facility, you’re the go-to expert who turns prints into precision parts. Your shift opens with a 3–4 axis VMC warm‑up on Okuma, Fanuc, or ProtoTRAK controls. You scan the drawing, decode the GD&T callouts, select the right tooling, and write or refine G- and M-code to get the first piece dialed in. You verify with hand metrology, make offset tweaks, and let the chips fly—safely and efficiently. Between runs, you troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance to keep downtime low, and jump onto a manual machine when a complex setup or repair calls for a hands‑on touch. Collaboration is constant—you’ll huddle with teammates to streamline processes and elevate quality, one improvement at a time.

What You’ll Tackle
