Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Smith Brothers Tool Company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis mills, turning blueprints into precise parts with tight tolerances. You’ll manage offsets, adjust parameters, and refine programs at the control.
The role requires reading drawings, strong shop math, and familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas controls. Expect in-process inspection, troubleshooting, and a clean, organized work area.
Do you thrive setting up and running 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills - solo and with confidence? Can you turn complex blueprints into flawless parts and hold tight tolerances without breaking a sweat? Are offsets, program edits, and on-machine fine-tuning part of your everyday toolkit? Do you trust calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators as much as your own instincts? If you answered yes, you'll feel at home building high-stakes aerospace components here.
