Job summary

Polymer Components Molding in Benton, TN seeks a Precision CNC Machinist-Programmer to run Haas mills and lathes end-to-end in a true job shop. You will read prints, apply GD&T, and verify parts, editing programs at the machine control as needed.

You will program toolpaths (SolidCAM preferred), set up tooling and fixtures, prove out(), and adjust code and offsets to hit specs. The role offers a four-day week and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC mills or lathes experience.
• Able to read prints with GD&T and verify parts.
• Proficient in editing programs at the machine control.
• Experience with setup of tooling, fixtures, and proofing out runs.
• Comfortable working in a true job shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Program toolpaths on Haas mills (SolidCAM preferred) and verify results.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and run production to spec.
• Adjust code and offsets on the fly to meet tolerances.
• Document setups for repeatable future runs.
• Tackle mix of jobs with changing priorities.
