Job summary

Voith US Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate a range of machine tools to produce precision parts, including rollers used in paper industrial machinery. You will read blueprints, select tools, and maintain tight tolerances while ensuring quality and safety.

The role requires experience with CNC programming (G-code/conversational) and the ability to work from CAD models, collaborating with engineers to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, setup, operation, and maintenance (G-code and conversational).

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools and accessories for each job.
• Monitor machine operations and maintain tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machines to ensure quality and minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of setups, tool changes, and production data.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize processes and safety protocols.
