Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a CNC Machine Operator (Milling - Fanuc Controls) to support precision manufacturing of aerospace components in Morton, IL. You will run established jobs on vertical machining centers, monitor cycles, and ensure parts meet stringent quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years CNC experience, familiarity with Fanuc controls, and the ability to read blueprints. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to process documentation in a fast-paced shop

Qualifications

• 1–3 years CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating CNC machines; familiarity with Fanuc controls preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines, including Bridgeport GX510 or similar vertical machining centers.
• Load and run programs using Fanuc controls.
• Load/unload parts and ensure proper fixture placement.
• Monitor machine cycles to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform in-process inspections using gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Make minor adjustments (offsets/tool changes) as needed.
• Identify and report alarms or quality concerns to supervision or setup personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
