Job summary
Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to program, set up, and operate FANUC-controlled machines, reading engineering drawings and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances. You will contribute to continuous improvement and collaborate across teams to meet production schedules.
The ideal candidate has proficiency in G and M codes, familiarity with inspection tools, and strong mathematical skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming, setup, and operation using FANUC controls and G and M codes.
- Ability to read blueprints, machining instructions, and operating requirements.
- Knowledge of indexable tooling, gauges, and inspection fixtures.
Responsibilities
- Operate multiple machines, monitor performance, measure and record dimensions.
- Interpret blueprints and instructions to determine machining methods.
- Identify and select cutting tools and fixtures to meet tolerances.
- Secure workpieces and position gauging equipment for repeatable production.
- Set feed rates, speeds, and machine settings for CNC Swiss Mill operations.
- Inspect components using micrometers, gauges, and fixtures; record data.
- Calculate machining dimensions to maintain accuracy.
- Machine plastic and nonmetallic materials as required per procedures.
