Qualifications

• Associates degree in Machine Technology or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
• Strong mathematical skills and working knowledge of tolerances.
• Capable of independent work and collaborating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines for precision work.
• Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling to ensure accurate production.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering specs to determine methods.
• Select tooling, feeds, and speeds for machining operations.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify tolerances.
• Maintain tight tolerances and dimensional accuracy on complex parts.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and identify material issues.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure quality.
• Design or modify fixtures and tooling for production needs.
• Maintain equipment, workspace cleanliness, and safety compliance.
