Job summary

Regal Rexnord in the United States is seeking a Machinist I to produce precision components using CNC and manual equipment. You will set up machines, read blueprints, and maintain tight tolerances while collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations.

You will optimize processes, select tooling, perform first‑piece inspections, and troubleshoot issues to ensure safe, efficient production. The role is onsite with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Machine Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to maintain high precision and tight tolerances.
• Strong mathematical skills (geometry, tolerances, measurements).
• Experience with CNC programming (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to perform precision machining operations.
• Set up machines, fixtures, and tooling to ensure accurate part production.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications to determine machining methods.
• Select and recommend appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds for machining operations.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure tolerance and quality requirements are met.
• Maintain equipment, work area cleanliness, and adherence to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure product quality.
• Design or modify fixtures and tooling to support production and special engineering needs.
