Aerotek is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist in Milwaukee, WI. The role sets up and runs CNC machines, reads blueprints, and ensures parts meet tight tolerances. You will perform tool changes, load programs, and troubleshoot issues to keep production flowing. The work involves inspecting finished parts and collaborating with a small team to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers.
• Ability to perform machine changeovers and set ups for different parts and jobs.
• Strong machine operation skills, including monitoring and adjusting machining parameters.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders.
• Experience with machining to tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Ability to perform inspections of machined parts to ensure specs.
• Haas CNC machine experience.
• CNC programming experience or edits at the machine.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machining centers for production runs, including tooling and loading programs.
• Operate CNC machines to manufacture components to specifications.
• Perform efficient changeovers with minimal downtime.
• Review blueprints and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Monitor operations and troubleshoot to maintain quality and performance.
• Inspect machined parts to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Adjust machine settings to correct deviations and maintain tolerances.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.
• Assist with basic CNC programming or edits to optimize processes.
