Job summary

Randstad USA in New York’s Suffolk County is seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to set up and run CNC mills and routers for high-precision metal parts. You will follow technical drawings and project specifications, and work a first shift from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Responsibilities include calibration, inspection with calipers/micrometers, routine maintenance, and strict safety adherence. Mazak experience is a huge plus; no degree is required. Salary ranges from $52,000 to $60,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or routers.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Mazak machine/control experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machinery to fabricate parts per drawings.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges for tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance, tool changes, and minor adjustments to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, wear PPE, and maintain a clean workspace.
• Monitor cycles for tool wear or faults and adjust or report issues.
