Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Machinist (3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am) to operate CNC and manual machinery, producing and repairing high-quality components. The ideal candidate will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and use precision measuring tools with tight tolerances. A strong work ethic, safety mindset, and teamwork are essential.

High school diploma or equivalent is required; trade-school machining education is preferred. Entry-level experience in CNC/manual machining is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC 3-axis and 5-axis machining, grinding, milling
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Intermediate math for measurement and problem-solving
• Attention to detail and effective communication in English

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machine tools to fabricate or repair precision components
• Analyze blueprints and work orders to determine machine setups and sequences
• Apply GD&T to ensure product conformity
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers and other tools to verify specs
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and documentation
